2020-2021 Cavs Season General Discussion

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Sexton doesn't look right. He isn't fast right now. All the more reason to tighten up that handle and increase offensive awareness and passing.

In Sexton's defense, I saw him limp after plays were over quite a few times, and quite a few times I noticed he was checking his right knee/lower body (which is super concerning) and I can tell he's soldering through the injuries Ben talked about.

I'd really like to see him get the next 2 weeks of rest and be forced to let his body heal. Now would be the perfect time for that actually.

Slide Okoro over to the 2 and start Windler for Denver on Friday.

Especially if they are just losing and he is not playing D to preserve himself.

Cavatt-

Your comment about Sexton getting bottled up in the lane after picking up his dribble, then looking
to pass is right on the money. It is good to be driven , but it is also good to have an alternate
plan if the road((ie lane) is blocked.

Spacing the floor with some real 3 point shooters would help everyone immensely.

At least on the offensive end.

Yeah spacing has been one of the biggest problems. The floor is so shrunk the Cavs are very easy to guard. Less shooting means even less space for the guys who actually shoot.

I expected them to fall back to Earth, but this has been a bit rougher than anticipated.
losing two of the best forwards on the team (Nance and Love) will accelerate the process. also, the "Drummond" factor.

this team also needs to practice. there are things being done that have all the hallmarks of "you weren't where you were supposed to be/where I expected you to be" all over the court.

Please tell me Delly is coming back soon. He doesn't even need to score. We just need him on the court with Sexton or in reserve of Garland.
