It's not opening for me, but I'm assuming it's about Njoku getting called off the practice field. I applauded the pick because he is such a physical freak. He just got beat out, never put it all together. Sometimes it's okay to look for a higher floor in the draft.

This is the kind of move I would really like to see the Browns make.

There's no way we can go a full season with our current LB and S group. That is, if we want to win some games.

The list of Mackey Award winners is generally pretty impressive, especially of late.

The last four were TJ Hockenson, Mark Andrews, Jake Butt, and Hunter Henry. Jake Butt's career has mostly been spent on the sidelines due to injuries, but Andrews and Henry are great and Hockenson is looking to have a breakout sophomore season.

it has now been three straight practices where the offense has kind of shredded the defense. Is Baker finally figuring it out?

btw, Ogunjobi looks unstoppable. I was never a huge believer in him. Always thought he could be a serviceable player, but in camp he has been dominant when playing. Maybe it’s because we’ve been missing Tretter but he looks capable of actually being a terrifying force in the middle.

I wouldn’t read too much into it. Browns probably had at best a bottom-half of the league defense coming in, and they’ve had some pretty big injuries at positions where they already lacked depth.

Unless he can face the Browns defense every week, we probably need to wait to make any real judgements. I expect the defense to be terrible this year.

well the defense did lose their starting FS,LB and greedy has been out for a while. It would be a problem if the offense didn’t look good.
