On August 5, players (including Fields) published publicly a whole list of demands of what the schools/conference must do before players would agree to agree to play, and specifically criticized the existing protocols as inadequate.
More than 1,000 Big Ten football players expressed their concerns about COVID-19 safety protocols in a letter to the NCAA and league.

So is Fields now abandoning those demands, and saying they'll play regardless? Or are all those demands - which the conference as a whole is unable to meet - still valid?
