2020 Draft Prospects Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I thought Wirfs would have been more of an animal on the bench. I mean 24 isn’t the end of the world but given what we saw or have seen I just felt like something brighter was imminent.

I think Higgins cost himself some money with that time too
I really don't value the number of bench press reps you can perform at all.

The raw number is absolutely useless, as it's typically a factor of how short your arms are (longer arms = harder to do a rep). If you took the curve of bench press reps to arm length, and then fit the numbers to that curve, they might then be a decent indicator of upper body strength (which still wouldn't hold too much weight).

Solid pun though

Honestly, it depends. Would you rather have George Kittle or Mike Evans?

I think a truly game breaking pass catching TE might be more valuable than an outside, jump ball threat. Maybe that is disparaging Claypool's WR profile.....but if he's already 235 and carrying the weight that well, I think you bulk him up and move him to TE if he's willing

I do not know anything about Claypool. But you'd think the differences in 2nd contracts would be a big factor in a decision like that, right?

Wirfs ran TWO sub 4.9 40s.

That right there should be target #1 for the Browns.

We all knew he would be the combine darling in the weight room a year ago. Again, I think the best move for the Browns would be signing a vet in free agency, taking a tackle in the first and then taking a developmental tackle in the third to fourth round. Let the veteran hold it down on one side until the raw day two or three guy is ready. All the other Browns needs aside from OL could be free agent plug and play situations, but the OL needs to be fixed with long-term in mind sooner than later.

Still remember Rizzo screaming for Derrick Williams at one . Good times indeed....

In the dark ages of the first LeBron absence, if I remember right our jeers in his first return to the Q included "Should've Drafted Darko." :p

So what is Forbes going forward? Is he useless? A guard?

Iowa OT Tristan Wirfs posted an official 40-yard dash time of 4.85 at the Combine.
It's the fastest time among offensive linemen. Wirfs's 36.5-inch vertical and 10-foot-1 broad jump also set records for the position. Already a first-round lock, it'd be a surprise if Wirfs fell out of the top-10 picks.

What does everyone think about drafting Cesar Ruiz in the 2nd and moving him to guard?
