2020 NFL Regular Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The early returns on the "Who Needs Who" more competition are heavily in Brady's favor.

And I can't say that doesn't make me happy.

To be fair, Brady went to a team that is absolutely loaded with talent. The Patriots skill position players are terrible and have been for a couple of years now.

People like to jerk off the Steelers for their WR drafting, but I'm not sure anyone has been better than the Bucs in recent history. Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Scott Miller, Tyler Johnson, and Justin Watson is an insanely talented WR room.

The Patriots were a winning football team that made the playoffs just last year.

The Bucs were not.

The Patriots were a playoff team based on their elite defense. Brady played like crap, mostly because his weapons were terrible. It's also worth noting that a lot of guys in that defense opted out this season.

The Bucs' main issue was their quarterback play. Winston could light it up but he'd throw back-breaking picks far too often and it cost his team games. That's why the team moved on from him.

So it's not hard to see how swapping Winston for Brady has made the Bucs a better team. Brady isn't the guy he used to be, but he's not going to make the kind of mistakes that Winston made constantly. Plus, the Bucs' defense has become borderline elite, if not all the way there. I don't think we can credit Brady for that.

Tom threw for more tds today than New England has all season. And they’re about to add Antonio Brown to that receiving core soon. Sheesh.

The Chiefs-Seahawks Super Bowl is going to be a blast.

The Seahawks play the best games in the league by far. All of their games are entertaining. All of them.

That's because they have an amazing offense and a bad defense. Makes for lots of shootouts.

Zane Gonzalez lol

Don’t look now but the Seahawks haven’t beat a quality opponent yet...

As some of you have seen, I’m a huge Cardinals fan by proxy.

Today has been insane for my heart. Also fuck the Sea Chickens and Russ is a bitch.

He’s terrific. He’s basically our version of Ben. I also love watching him throw shitty interceptions like the one he did in OT. Still a bitch.
