Falling on the Sword of Gase. He did his job in the tank by rushing a safety yesterday when they should've been in prevent. He did his duty but now, his watch has ended.

I don't understand why Gase or Greggg would tank that loss yesterday unless the owner pays them loss bonuses under the table. Neither are going to be there next year so why do they care?

Saw a piece on Sportscenter late last night. They showed three other times with other teams where Greggg did basically the same thing, and it worked each time. Seems it's the sort of gutsy call that looks like genius when it works and gets you fired when it doesn't.

ESPN tweeted that they looked through yesterday’s scenario, and while the situation happened over 2000 times since 2006, there has never been a cover zero call.

I saw that, too. I think the other scenarios they showed included multiple blitzers but none as naked as yesterday's.
