One run in the last 25 innings if I'm not mistaken. Brutal.

Hosey's infield pop-up percentage this year is 13.9%. His career number is 6.8%. IOW, he's popping up twice as many balls as he normally does and that does not count the pop-ups that are caught by outfielders calling off the infielders.

I think it's pretty obvious he's over swinging. He's lunging at the ball. How else do you explain the blizzard of pop-ups, some of which happen on pitches dead center of the strike zone.

Playoff preview. Tribe starter makes a couple mistakes that go yard. Offense completely gags and embarrasses itself. Can hardly wait.

Bieber hangs two sliders in the upper middle of the zone and they both get hit out. Maeda hangs about 10 of them and gets outs or foul balls on all of them.

When we get a runner on first to lead off the inning the only question is whether he gets picked off or we ground into a double play.

The good news is this is the last time this season we'll be embarassed by Maeda unless we draw the Twins in the playoffs.
