So.... why does Fox keep digitally overlaying fans in the ballpark?

There's no benefit, and it can be misleading to people watching who might not realize they're digitally overlayed.

I'm not watching on a huge TV, but I keep thinking they are real fans...until they show a close-up and it gets overlayed on a players head lol.
