It is simple if a player has not actually established themselves as worth calling a core player imo you should not deem him to be one even if the org is pumping him up as said player and the feeling is he will be one because they hope he will smh
I am a Cavs fan but in no way am I going to support unproven coaches and gm's or unproven players as untouchables or worse give them the "good job speech" when it is the last thing they need. Luckily we have Sexton for now at least he keeps working his ass off regardless of lack of respect from this front office.
So let me see if I understand you correctly after your numerous posts..........you like Sexton.......the end.

I think this assessment of Pangos is probably correct (and the assessment of the NBA in general is certainly correct) - all I'm saying is - let's find out and not run our 31 year old, often injured, backup point guard into the ground. If he's so inadequate physically so as to be absolutely unplayable, why did we sign him?

Who knows. It's not like they couldn't easily have found 25 guys exactly like him on the fringes of the NBA, just hoping for a chance. 6'1'' point guards are not exactly rare. Maybe it was a favor for his agent or something? That's surprisingly often the case with these mystery signings of 10th men.

Pangos is mostly just a tourist in the league. He's here so he can say "I played in the NBA". He had much better offers from Europe but chose the end of the Cavs' bench. To each his own, I guess.

after years of observation to his dedication to the game and self improvement I respect him as should others that don't. The other so called core players like Garland and Okoro are less impressive and have not earned my respect at all yet.
You clearly don't understand

Like that matters. His obsession with Sexton borders on homoerotic.
my obsessions are with finding better players to put around him and so far Mobley and RR are the only one's that are worthy.
I will throw you a big huge bone to chew on there captain phobia just say when lol

It is amazing how much insight you possess knowing and understanding EACH player's heart and drive and dedication for their profession and you hold them accountable. I know each player must be heartbroken that they have not earned your respect. Me....I am just hanging my head in shame that I "clearly don't understand".

With the new rule change I think the cavs can pull it off with the 3 7 footers to be honest. Players can be more physical and laurie has shown hes no slouch.

Lauri's defense on wings has been pretty good. I'm surprised.

He basically covered MPJ great.

Nice playoff game in October. God damn.

And no, there are no style points in the NBA. A win is a win. That is literally all that matters.
