Ummm, no. Cavs teams in Lebron’s second go-round won 50+ games and were first in the Central Division every year he was here. Lakers will not win close to 50 games this year (they are on pace to win 42 and have done the easiest part of their schedule) and would not be close to winning any Western Conference division.

I don’t know why people can’t at least credit Lebron for being really really good.
Well, 50x2, 51, and 53 regular-season wins is a pretty meager regular season record for four of the Finals appearances, and they performed above those levels in the playoffs across the board, i.e. were "coasting" as the LeBron saying goes.

57-25 (which incidentally ties the pre-Lebron best season) was of course the championship team's record, but they also performed above that level in the playoffs - in fact, above a team with 73 wins. :)

Magic fans are pretty pissed about J. Isaac being a total mystery post injury with no idea about his return timeline. Meanwhile - not trying to start a political debate - he’s filming stuff with Ben Shapiro and the like. Which also leads to further acrimony.

Very strange situation.

Considering who owns the franchise, the filming stuff isn't even a slight surprise.

Indians, Boston, Utah. Portland is at full attention

Siakim has been realy good for the Raptors since coming back.

I think they're probably gonna catch and pass the Cavs.

No way. The Cavs are gonna keep rolling and the schedule is about to get a whole lot easier.

Raps have already won 6 in a row. Just one game back in the standings from us(although have played less games)

People should have understood their poor record last year was very injury related.

They've got a lot of talent and it wouldn't be some failure if they do indeed end up passing us in the standings.

Cavs are not rolling. They are currently hanging. Not by a thread, but the stability isn't the same. The body language is also not the same.

I wouldnt be surprised if they slipped and I also wouldn't be surprised if they start rolling again. I wouldn't have thought about the possibility of slipping had Rubio not been injured.

Four of our next eight games are against Utah, the Nets, the Bulls, and the Bucks.

After that it does get easier…

But overall it feels like we are now down in the mix with the play in teams talent wise, where when we had Rubio it felt like we would finish 5th or 6th in the East. I think we’re probably headed for the play in

Which is okay…. Cavs are moving in the right direction…

Big picture !!!!

If you had told me before the season started that we would have been solidly in the play-in tier of teams I would have been shocked and thrilled.

It will take a minute for Rondo to figure out how to work with everybody.. But we will get better as we go especially on offense..
