Well, 50x2, 51, and 53 regular-season wins is a pretty meager regular season record for four of the Finals appearances, and they performed above those levels in the playoffs across the board, i.e. were "coasting" as the LeBron saying goes.Ummm, no. Cavs teams in Lebron’s second go-round won 50+ games and were first in the Central Division every year he was here. Lakers will not win close to 50 games this year (they are on pace to win 42 and have done the easiest part of their schedule) and would not be close to winning any Western Conference division.
I don’t know why people can’t at least credit Lebron for being really really good.
57-25 (which incidentally ties the pre-Lebron best season) was of course the championship team's record, but they also performed above that level in the playoffs - in fact, above a team with 73 wins.
