Grizzlies/Warriors fourth quarter is gonna be must watch TV.

This why I didn’t lose my mind when the Cavs lost to the Grizzlies the other night… Grizz are legit as can be and the Cavs battled them…. Hell, the Cavs battled the Warriors the other night as well….

Love it…

Memphis has as good a shot at getting to the Finals as GS or Phoenix or Utah, imo.

My goodness Minnesota is just tragic….

Karl Anthony-Towns
Anthony Edwards
DeAngelo Russell

At this point they should be where the Cavs are if not further along….

Not to turn tonight into a complete fluffing of Memphis, but in addition to their very deep talented young team, they also have three 1sts in this draft.

The Lakers: currently 16
Their own: currently 26
Utahs: currently 27

On top of that, they own all their future 1sts and have a top4 protected pick from GS in 2024(though GS will likely still at least be a playoff team by then)

So Memphis is well stocked to continue to add to their roster, whether it be young developing draft picks or using those picks to add key additional veterans

I do not understand how Memphis is so good schematically. I also do not understand how a guy of Ja's size at 174 pounds can be so impactful all over the floor.

He's just an absolutely relentless attacker of the basket and the freakiest leaper at the PG position I've ever seen. Seeing a 6'3 guy almost eye level at the rim the other day on that dunk against the Lakers just blew my mind.

I'm not sure there's anyone in the league under 25 I would take over Morant in all honesty.

In a description of why the Grizzlies are a team that might be better than you think, someone listed the teams they beat as evidence. The Warriors were one of those teams... so were the Cavs.

The Grizz are about 2 years ahead of where we are right now and I love everythign abt them...I will admit they have been my adopted 2nd team for the last two years. Their FO is excellent at drafting and makign moves on the margin. The only thing that really sets them apart from us, other than the timeline, is the success theyve gotten with secondary first rounders (clarke, melton). Their team is ike 11 deep rn. I am hoping we can get there in a few years and blow the doors off the rest of the east. We are coming for you, the Nets

Look man Garland has taken a big step forward but I'm not sure how, even with the wine and gold colored glasses on, there are people here who think he's caught up to Morant.

It's probably a bigger gap this year than last year and that's because Morant is way, way, way better than he was last year.

Morant is getting better by the game. Definitely feels like a superstar coming out party.
