2021 Around MLB: Return of the Dead Ball Era

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Cards Pitcher Giovanny Gallegos asked to change hats because of foreign substance. Leads to Shildt's ejection and an interesting post game interview. I set the video to start when he begins to talk about it.

I must say I find it hilarious that Karinchak hasn't been checked at this point, it's just so blatant what he is doing.
"Integrity of the game" invoked multiple times...it is a sliding scale. So it goes...

“has been secretly negotiating to sell an interest in the Franchise and Club to a Canadian businessman named Stephen Bronfman and his #Montreal Baseball Group.”

Two teams (Oakland and TB) are moving well before a cornerstone AL franchise is.

Cleveland should have 0.0 concern about this team moving anywhere.

At this point, if I were a betting man, I would put money on the A's ending up in Vegas and the Rays moving to Montreal, while the two expansion teams being in Nashville and Portland if/when the league has 32 teams.

Nope, caught it all very plainly. My point was the umps felt it was enough of an issue to make him change his hat but still let him pitch. As I said MLB really doesn't care about the cheating. And no, it's not a fking secret. We all know there are guys cheating, as does MLB, just like we all knew guys were juicing, as did MLB but didn't really care to do anything about it.
No you actually completely missed what he is talking about. What he is talking about is the difference between what pitchers have been doing since the formation of the game(it was at the beginning legal), and the new scientifically proven super sticky substances that allows a pitcher insane spin rates and movement like a whiffle ball. This is a manager of a MLB team calling this out. This is huge.

This really should of been posted in "The Bleachers" section...

Absolutely -- @AZ_ missed his shot with that one. If there was a way to have pinned a post, that one would have been perfect in that thread. I don't have the power to move posts, so it would be up to @_AZ to do it.

Awesome fight, though.

No pretty sure I am aware of all that and clearly got that he was calling it out.......and clearly MLB doesn't give a shit as witnessed by the fact everyone is aware it is happening and the umps felt there was enough of an issue to change the hat but still allow him to pitch. This is one of the best things I've seen in a while. Shitspurgh is embarrassing.

I think it’s bizarre that people are acting like Baez did something here.

This is 100% just a bonehead move by the Pirates, and even that’s underselling it.

There were 2 outs! Even after the guy slid into a home, a force out at first would have ended the inning with no run scoring.

T ballers know better. Obviously, the first baseman touches first and inning over. But even after throwing late to the plate. had the idiot second baseman covered first, the run would not have counted.

Here, what's really going on. I highly recommend you watch, especially the part of how MLB will use the info being gathered this season in the next CBA(yes it's his guess, but it makes a hell of a lot of sense).

Glued to your fingers - YEP

Use any of the "extra" stickey substances and you come away with white dots on your fingers. They literally pull the leather off the ball and it ends up stuck to your fingers - its pretty cool really.

He done. The arresting officers literally witnessed it happen. This is a mandatory three year minimum prison sentence in the state of Georgia.

His career is likely over.

If its a first offense he will be charged with something else and probably not do significant crime. But Ozuna is 30 years old, and could end his career as domestic violence is a career ender these days.
