2021 College Football Season/Playoff Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Clemson OL getting absolutely manhandled.

Clemson… doesnt look like Clemson

This may be a hot take, but Clemson appears to be trending in the wrong direction. I think a lot of people underestimated how much they were being carried by a transcendent QB over the last 5-6 years (Watson & Lawrence). They've recruited well but not at a top tier level, and their last several games on the big stage reflect this, being grossly outplayed in each of them (LSU, OSU, UGA).

Will be interesting to see what happens with them moving forward. Of course, they don't play a single ranked team the rest of the season (lol), so they'll probably manage to sneak into the playoffs anyway.

Edit: Right on cue...

I’ve had this sneaky take since the end of last year. It could be classified as hot but I think there is truth to it.

Playing in the ACC has magnified this mini era of elite-ness for them, though, and it will probably help keep them relevant for a few extra years.

I still the right thing happened last year, but I don’t think this year should affect how people feel about last year. If you feel Indiana had a beef last year, this year doesn’t change it.
