2021 College Football Season/Playoff Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The lack of Purdue talk in here makes me know all of you OSU fans fear Purdue.

You heard me right, Purdue is going storm into Columbus and Cover the 3+ touchdown spread. You heard the prediction here first....spreads will be covered.
By gametime I suspect everyone will understand the juggernaut that Purdue is. They're going to win--and I'm not sure Ohio State is going to cover.

I am guessing most didnt watch my game, but we have a great receiving core, Plummer looked good at QB, and our offensive line might be the worst in the Big Ten, maybe even all of Power 5...its awful. Not a recipe to stop a loaded OSU defensive live, lol.

I mean, Purdue has had more success against OSU than any other Big 10 team the last 20 years...

I know, last 2 Purdue defeats where when my Mom (OSU alumni and huge fan) was coming here to visit. She says she will never visit me again during a Purdue/OSU game, lol

Well my lukewarm poll takes we’re correct:

Obviously college football is weird but personally, I don’t think an 0-1 should be ranked. You should have to earn your way back into the Top 25. Preseason perception is largely bullshit, so why apply that to Week 2?

If teams are better they’ll prove it. No reason UNC or Miami should be there, and Clemson at 6 seems dumb too, but it doesn’t really matter I guess.

Also Notre Dame moving up feels wrong. Looking forward to that Top 10 El Assico however.

Generally why I care fuck all about polls until like week 6 at the bare minimum

I cannot believe the game this week might not be at full capacity. The ticket prices are out of control for this game.

I am guessing OSU (and other schools) are trying to recoup losses from last year and are banking that people are so starved for football that they’ll pay extra.

Pedo State tickets are like whoa as well.

Cincy would've been a solid get for the B1G if we were looking to expand.

Would have to assume that you'll see Houston join the Big 12 within another year or so as well. Cincy and Houston replacing Oklahoma and Texas isn't amazing, but it's better than some of the alternatives I've seen thrown about.

Cincinnati beats Maryland, Rutgers and Nebraska yearly without breaking a sweat, right?

Cincy is underrated academically, but I don't know what bringing another Ohio school brings to the B1G.

BYU, UCF, Cincy, and Houston are good gets. The nice thing for Cincy is even an OU and UT less Big 12 is still probably going to get 20ish million a year per team, which is way more than the AAC members were getting.
