2021 NBA Draft Safari

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Tyrece Radford is fun. Smart player, and tough as nails. Very Patrick Beverly-y. If he can shoot at all he should get a chance in the NBA.

Cade with a 20/4/4/2/2 on 7-12 from the field.

Battled some early foul trouble but the game is pretty easy for him.

Jalen Johnson looking as good as advertised

More than his stats, he just plays really hard.

Guys who play with that noticeable edge are always really fun to watch.

I don’t know if it is his movement, energy, both.....but he kind of reminds me of Shawn Marion.

He’s one of my top3 favorites in this class so I hope his shot profile out a little better than Marion’s shot.

He just looks so versatile. I really don’t know enough about his shooting profile but it looks like he can play just about anywhere, like Marion did.

Not that I thought he was a bad athlete but he seemed far more live than I was expecting. The only thing I worry about is K isn’t great at letting SF types shine in his offense......hopefully JJ gets a little more leash as the season wears on.

Yup, definitely appreciated the take-no-prisoners approach from him. Duke needs him to play big in order to be competitive this year, and he said yeah, I can play big, watch me.

Wow really impressed with Jalen Johnson. He certainly passes the initial eye test esp for what the Cavs might be looking for in the next draft.

You have to love how hard he plays and how much he initiates contact. Given his frame you would assume the opposite

I saw people on the Reddit NBAdraft forum today arguing and critiquing him for his efficiency. After TWO GAMES. I’m all for people who know how to analyze numbers to evaluate players doing it, but two freaking games is not a sample size hahaha

Hahaha. I will be interested in his use of the left hand going forward. A couple of those finishes showed a huge preference for his right hand. But it's very early days
