Jimmy Butler is ready to be a legend tonight. LeBron gonna have to go super saiyan if he's gonna beat him.

Good game so far.

That Tyler kid is a gamer.

The Warriors should be pissed.

They would have waltzed to the title this year.

watching Lebron not able to get what he wants on the court anymore just sorta hurts. It’s an angle game for him now. All old man stuff and strength in the half court. Not hating, just observing. Still get results regardless.

He’s a conductor and Davis is the work horse. It’s a beautiful thing to watch.

Without KD, Iggy, and Livingston?
Not so sure about that.

Besides, availability is it’s own ability and it’s one LeBron has always had that Steph hasn’t had for more then 2-3 years in a row.

LA has bad spacing though. If LA had better spacing he would look better offensively in the half court.

I still think so.

The Lakers are not a Super Team.

The Warriors, even the lesser version, can take them.

Have to agree that "waltz" is a bit too strong, though. Beating the Nuggets/Clippers, Lakers, and Heat 3 series in a row would be a rather difficult waltz.

They need another shooter on the court to make LeIso work. Rondo does so many things well but he just doesn't have any gravity

Interesting that the Lakers offense opened up when they made LeBron the corner man and then ran action for Rondo. LeBron and AD draws so much attention it's junks up the defense

I doubt it they struggled even with Durant terribly against the Rockets without Iggy. They only came back and looked like themselves when he came back

#2 pick if they use it right can make a huge difference. Trade for a star or split it up as an asset to use those picks for years to come. They could trade down a couple times, gain draft picks and pick up vet players.

Miami isn't that far off from being real good. If they can get Bam, Duncan, and Herro to really hit their peak before Butler starts to fall off they are going to be dangerous.

Next year is going to be more interesting than this year. KD and Kyrie with the Nets will be interesting to see. The Warriors and how they use the #2 pick.

I don't think there is a true superteam as the NBA currently sits. The Warriors might be able to make another superteam with what they do with the #2 pick.

Yea they rarely have four or even three shooters on the court with LeBron. Even their small lineups that are supposed to maximize spacing have at least one or more really shaky shooters out there like Rajon Rondo, Alex Caruso, or Kyle Kuzma. And even their better three point shooters like Danny Green or KCP are really streaky. Teams just wisely pack the paint against LeBron, which is why the Lakers halfcourt offense can look so stagnant.

On the other hand every single Lakers rotation player is a good to elite defender for his respective position. There really are no weak links. So while this may be one of LeBron's most offensively limited title teams, it is probably his best defensive one. It's kind of a unique team - two elite talents surrounded not by shotmakers but by great defenders.

Last night's game was tremendous to watch. Great intensity. Absolutely fantastic defense, close till the end. A really tough defensive game always makes teams look "worse" because their offenses are so disrupted. So no, I don't think these teams would be a pushover for a Warriors team without Durant.
