Luka seems quicker. Better. Dallas just needs healthy season(s) and maybe trade for Beal in the future.
 
A lot of people pegged the kings as an up in coming team. I’ve been extremely low on them. Passing on Luka to draft a non defensive big in Bagley is all time bad and kings esque. They have had multiple opportunities to draft superstars and just shit the bed continually.
 
The kings fans trying to spin “not having a draft pick in a bad year doesn’t hurt” just killed me. It’s never a good thing to be in the lottery and not have a pick.

I’d rather present Carmelo Anthony over Andrew Wiggins. At least Carmelo wouldn’t be destroying your cap flexibility.

Pretty much any form of Carmelo is preferable to Andrew Wiggins. Prime Carmelo making max, or washed Carmelo making league minimum.

carmelo wasn’t a bad player in his prime. Andrew Wiggins is a bad player that highjacks your offense.

Bagley is really good though. Obviously Luka is better but they now have two borderline max guys in Fox and Hield, one of the better 3 point shooters in Bogdanovic coming off the bench, and Bagley as a great offensive big man. They probably won’t make the playoffs because the West is so stacked but they are definitely a good team.

He has a chance to post a 8 BPM season as a 20 year old.

Kings fans kept telling themselves that last year. Well, Bagley isn't a worthless player, so it's okay! Even if he was on a trajectory to become an all level player it was still a bad move. I don't think Marvin is very good or projects that well though. The Kings are as dysfunctional as they have always been and fans just tell themselves nobody wants to play in a small market... No, nobody wants to play for a horrible franchise. Northern California is awesome... It isn't the market it's the horrible ownership and front office.

Wiggins is basically the LeBron James of bad basketball players. He's the ultimate version of that sort of "bad player".

Kings fans here keep saying get over it! Bro, this is something you cant get over. All the fans wanted him and had to talk themselves into Bagley.. The fans collectively would have drafted better than the front office. Imagine here if Brooklyn netted us the top pick and we picked Bagley or Ayton over Luka. This place would be a dumpster fire. Nobody would get over it. It's impossible to sweep under the rug.
