2021 NBA Offseason Thread

Meanwhile Kyrie is missing games for “personal reasons”.

The Nets were missing Kyrie and Durant and the Nets still beat the 6ers by plenty. Joe Harris had 28.

Kyrie is like a chick on the Northeast corner of the hot / crazy graph who is great initially but becomes progressively more tiresome. Just not worth the trouble.
 
I know a lot of people didn’t like him and checked out feeling validated after game 2 of the season, but LaMelo Ball had been stringing together quality games and jam packed stat lines pretty much since game 2.

One of the few guys in this draft I thought had a chance to be a true star. Obviously a long way to go, but he’s been impressive so far in his rookie campaign.

Finished the game off becoming the youngest player to ever record a triple double in NBA history

I'll eat a crow on LaMelo if this holds. Didn't watch him in Australia and he is playing absurdly well so far all-around.

Let's see if I can still win the Wiseman and Edwards one.

Lol the report is now that he missed the game due to what happened at the Trump rally on the 6th.

Good lord.

I don't wanna make light of him anymore because I Think he might have real mental issues. Sorta like I feel about mocking Antonio Brown.

LMAO, LeBron just looked like he was throwing the ball away. You almost didn't even see it, with how quickly he flung it away.

Didn't take Charlotte long to let LaMelo out, it looks like.

Bray-mond being back in the Warriors lineup might keep them from tanking, because without him they look like the Keystone Cops. The other interesting development is that Wiggins appears not to be "Wigging" it as much. That might keep them from tanking... which is GOOD for this upcoming offseason

Sixers are a scary team with some actual shooters aboard.

Nah. He is a grown ass man making his own decisions, who is spoiled and doesnt realize how foolish it looks. No idea what it accomplishes sitting out, but will have some rant eventually about it. Im just glad that show isnt here for all of this.

I was thinking the same thing about the Antonio Brown comparison. Like Kyrie he was more or less normal - or at least he was publicly so - and then all of a sudden his behavior just started getting stranger and stranger.

The biggest mistake the 76ers made was letting Reddick walk! He made the dangerous. The Warriors will be a lottery team again! Wiesman is good but not enough to help offensive limited Draymond and defensive limited Curry get into the playoffs! Klay covered for Curry’s weaknesses on defense.....and definitely helped open up shooting opportunities for him as defenses had to pay attention to him as well. Curry carrying the Warrior scoring load will wear him down!

More than anything he’s just so fun to watch. The man has like three jawdropping plays per game.
 
So I don't get to watch the Bulls play often.

What is the knock on LaVine?

Bad defense? Durability?

Dude is averaging 27+ PPG at age 25.

One can see Dan thinking of a quick fix with a guy like LaVine.
