The biggest mistake the 76ers made was letting Reddick walk! He made the dangerous. The Warriors will be a lottery team again! Wiesman is good but not enough to help offensive limited Draymond and defensive limited Curry get into the playoffs! Klay covered for Curry’s weaknesses on defense.....and definitely helped open up shooting opportunities for him as defenses had to pay attention to him as well. Curry carrying the Warrior scoring load will wear him down!
I agree 100% about Reddick. Though this year's Sixer team is much, much better looking.... esp. with the Maxey pick, the team that lost on the last second to the Kawhi Raptors was a much better team than last season's Sixers.

So I don't get to watch the Bulls play often.

What is the knock on LaVine?

Bad defense? Durability?

Dude is averaging 27+ PPG at age 25.

One can see Dan thinking of a quick fix with a guy like LaVine.
I can't quite call it with LaVine. I just know he turns into the reincarnation of Michael Jordan against the Cavs... every time.

I think he could be great if he played with someone a little better. Pair him with a better star and he could be #2. I don't understand his defense, but I don't watch him enough. He should be better there.

Here's the thing about Kyrie's personal/social justice absence.

The nets are struggling. It's a rookie head coach. It's his first time playing with Durant.

Like, they NEED the court time. As much as they can get.

NOW we have stories of Kyrie at a party w/o a mask. This while he's been taking personal time off for w/e reason. He's already been ruled out of the next two games.

I mean, at this point, knowing what we know about Kyrie Irving's mental state and how fickle he is....Irving for Harden? I mean, and some other things to entire the ROckets a little more. But that's the basic framework.

The Nets with a reaaalll interesting statement that ends with "Kyrie will be able to address the team about his absence when he is ready to do so."

I ugh....I wonder what Kevin Durant is think about his life decisions at this moment.

I also found that quote to be particularly interesting..... Has he not even communicated with the Nets as to why he’s absent? Yet videos circulate of him partying with friends / family?

He’s a strange dude...... I’m actually genuinely worried about his overall mental health.. It’s like the dude got a really bad batch of weed and now thinks he’s a visionary or something

Maybe it's not really a mental health thing.

The more I think about it, the more I'm finally figuring out the proper comparison. Ricky Williams.

I simply don't think Kyrie loves/likes/wants to play basketball anymore and I don't think we're long off from him just retiring and doing what he wants to do.

Maybe people need to chill and get out of his business and stop making assumptions until they know what's really going on.

Also ain't it funny how when Maya Moore and Rene Montgomery stepped away from the game to deal with more important issues nobody criticized them. Nobody.

Kyrie has a much bigger platform and profile than both of them and he did a helluva lot of work specifically for WNBA players last summer by paying the salaries of the players who chose to sit out of their bubble. He's been putting his money where his mouth is and unlike a lot of other players he isn't just doing symbolic arm locking and other empty ass gestures and he's actually putting in real work to make a real difference.

I just think of all the things people criticize athletes for people really are gonna pile on Kyrie for actually maximizing the use of his platform and profile?

Really?

Oh lord.

Maya Moore stepped away from the game in the off-season. ANd told everyone she was doing that. And wasn't eating up a massive amount of her teams cap space.

Not in the middle of the fucking season.

Come on, Los.

Except for one this is not a normal NBA season and two we don't know what is going on behind the scenes between Kyrie, his teammates, and the organization.

So why not just wait for him to let us know what's up before we go making assumptions?

And by the way, who in the hell was this too?

We're criticizing Kyrie Irving because he's not playing basketball for undisclosed personal reasons (apparently undisclosed to his team, too) while being spotted at parties w/o a mask. No one said one single thing about any activism he's taking part in. You just imagined it.

It's particularly bad because his team is struggling and he has a rookie coach that needs all the help he can get. And he just went MIA.

Look I'm on the left politically as everyone can tell but come on this is ludicrous IMO. If he wants to become a full time activist then become a full time activist. Don't dick around getting paid millions of dollars for not doing what is in your contract and screw over both teammates and your fans by half assing it..

If you make a commitment keep your commitment and if you want to change be honest about it. Kyrie I hope certainly has made enough money that he doesn't have to worry about quitting his massive contract and if he does so all the more power to him. But this 1/2 ass stuff shows immaturity. Muhammad Ali didn't box when he made his decision, Pat Tillman went to freakin Afganistan, this just looks to me like a person who has good intentions but doesn't know a thing about sacrifice. And if I'm being sanctimonious, you can just see what Lebron has accomplished off court and see the level of commitment he has to the game

Christian Wood is really good.
REally curious what was in his background that made Detroit not want to resign him

Harden also look ludicrous: he as about 10-20 lbs he needs to drop
