2021 NBA PLAYOFFS MEGA THREAD

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Every year some team is trotting out P.J Tucker in the playoffs to be their 6’5” starting PF….They never win…

This man is in his mid 30’s and can’t shoot anymore, create or drive, rebound or pass and is a German League champion….

I’m confused as to why he is still in the league ? And why teams choose to start him ?
Absolutely horrendous take….

Hell if we had PJ Tucker on the 17 and 18 Cavs we may have been looking at a 3peat… He just made Durant look average…

Holy shit I missed the Bucks - Nets game, did NOT EXPECT that! Definitely not missing the next game, what a turnaround!

I mean the Nets best players are getting hurt.

At this point, the Bucks so vastly out talent the Nets that scheme and poor coaching and lack of development from Giannis don't matter.

The Bucks winning the East with Bud as HC would be an indictment on all the other HC's in the conference, to be honest.

Bucks Jazz finals would have the worst thing tv ratings for the NBA finals since the Cavs Spurs...

Assuming Harden and Irving remain out and the Bucks win this series, I don't see them beating either Philly or Atlanta outside of major, major injuries again.

When the Bucks get bounced out of the playoffs, they should seek a new coach and
GM. They need to find personnel that fit with Giannis and a coach that will
build an offense that has nothing to do with Giannis shooting from
outside 15 feet.

Mitchell is barely top 3 on their current roster
Funny you say that. I still think he's the 2nd most important player on that team (I know what the advanced stats say), but the "superstar" hoopla is becoming absurd. I consider Mitchell a top 20-30 player in the league who is talked about like a top 7-10 player since he's the top scorer on a great team in an absolute perfect position for him to succeed.

Interestingly, his 3rd year stats per 100 possessions are nearly identical to Sexton's 3rd year stats:

Sexton: 34.0 points, 6.1 assists, 4.4 rebounds, 1.4 steals, 57.3% true shooting
Mitchell: 34.1 points, 6.1 assists, 6.3 rebounds, 1.4 steals, 55.8% true shooting

Rofl. Flagrant 2 for that.

This league is a bad product right now.

Let's legislate out any and all physical contact.

The Nuggets have to be hating themselves for that Aaron Gordon trade.

I get that he's supposed to be their 4th best player and w/o Murray his weaknesses get magnified..but he's done absolutely nothing this series on either end.

He's gonna need a big bounce back season next year.
