2021 NBA PLAYOFFS MEGA THREAD

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
She’s way hotter than Rachel Nichols…. By like a lot…
I mean...yeah, obviously.

If there's a human being that disagrees, I'd be interested to meet them.

I look at it in reverse, The bucks took the nets to 7 games. The nets stacked that team with multiple Allstars and HOF players, because of that I won't accept any excuses from that team.

The Nets team they played weren't stacked though. Kyrie got hurt in G4 (the Nets were up 2-1 at the time) and missed the rest of the series. James Harden missed the first 4 games and wasn't the same when he came back. They started and played Bruce Brown 52 minutes in Game 7.

Again, it's not the Bucks' fault - you can only play who is in front of you. But the truth is they barely got by a Nets team that was crushed by injuries and likely lose if either Kyrie or Harden is 100% all series.

To be fair, it should also be said they won without Giannis in some big ECF games.

Hopefully we don't have an unprecedented number of injuries next season like we did this year.

Feel bad for paul.

It's almost impossible to imagine Phoenix getting there again with the amount of injury luck they had in every single round.
Spoiler: They won't get back.

And it sucks. I liked this Suns team, they also were easy to root for. It honestly sucks they and Milwaukee had to face off this year. Would have loved to see both these teams take down a manufactured super team in The Finals in different seasons.

I genuinely do feel bad for CP3 and Phoenix. This will be their peak. But they also deserve a title.

Same.

Which is why my excitement over this is lukewarm.

On the other end, this should be the end of the "Giannis to GSW" bullshit, which is just as annoying as "X Player To The Lakers".
He got to the finals, put on an All-Time performance, the team made some great adjustments, and they won.
One more Finals MVP than Steph has in less tries.
also, LOLOLOLOLOL at all the Antetokumpo kids having rings

Yup.. Admittedly I feel CP3 is an ass… But he’s been so good that he’s one of the guys I’d like to see win a ring to justify his career.. But doing so in this fashion.

Nobody cares about Gary Payton’s Heat ring or Mitch Richmond’s Lakers ring etc… (I can still justify Kidd’s in 2011)… But this was it. He had one bite at that championship apple and it’s done… Going to the Clippers or Lakers or wherever it’s not the same.. If he would have taken the Suns to a title that would have shot him up the all time list..

I’m fascinated with how these championships are viewed.. This Giannis one is way more impressive than what Anthony Davis won a year ago or what Durant got…

There’s championships and then there’s championships…

Also would be kinda funny seeing CP3 leave the Suns and Devin Booker is stuck taking 30 shots a game and the Suns go 36-46 next season and go nowhere…

Magic wasting no time lol.

It will be interesting...does he go for a ring or for the $? I'm not sure he can do both.
It's like $40M lol. That's hard to walk away from.

They can actually trade for him salary wise with Kuzma, KCP & Harrell.

I'd love to watch LA gut their roster to squander another year of Lebron James.
