The Tribe has scored 14 runs in three games against the Sox, not counting the ghost runner that scored in the 8th yesterday. That's not bad, especially since Rodon started one of those games. Not only hitting but also speed was a big factor as the Indians stole two bases and Amed scored from first on a double that did not get anywhere near the wall.
Karinchak has now given up seven runs in his last four innings. He might need three days off. But he made a nice pitch to Abreu to end the game.
Shaw was awesome in going through the middle of their order in the 8th.
Zimmer had another hit but first base remains a black hole in the order.
The bottom four hitters in the White Sox lineup combined to score five runs and drive in three. It's frustrating to see the Indians' pitchers hold their first five hitters to 5-for-22 with no RBI's and one run scored only to see the Mendoza line scrubs do all the damage.
Tomorrow Eli Morgan gets another shot although the announcers were saying the weather doesn't look good. With Lance Lynn going for the Sox a rainout would be to the Tribe's advantage.
