2021 Series #36 | Indians @ Tigers | Aug. 13-15

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Sam Hentges might be the worst Cleveland starter in recent memory. Would rather go pluck 48-year old Bartolo out of the Mexican League and watch him.
This absolutely goes without saying.

In a lost season like this, I’m taking 10 ‘tolo AB’s over 1 AB from any single one of the Indians best player.

What pleases me most about Bartolo is that this image is the second one that turns up on mobile google image search.

I’d hate to see the first image but I’ll risk it anyway. I was a bit surprised to see him listed as 5’11”, 280 pounds.

1) Hentges is out of options. No more time for him in Columbus, if he remains on anybodys 40 man.

The same goes for Allen, Mejia, Zimmer, Mercado, Chang, Harold, and Bradley.

2) Shaw is not looking good.

3) Wham is correct. The present active roster is not composed of many major league players. Many of them dont look like future major league players.

That last point is the most disappointing part about watching them right now. Very little to be hopeful/excited about. Basically the only young guys to watch that might be part of the big league team in the future are McKenzie, Morgan, Bradley, Gimenez and maybe Miller.

I don't believe Harold has burned his option for this year.. He would have have to be off MLB roster (& injured list) for 20 games. I think the Luplow injury happened early enough in April for him to be called up to CLE and still have time left..

Looks like a "bullpen" game for the Tiges today.. which McStix will we see.. the good one?.. or..

Maybe a laugher / 10 run lead will allow Miggy to get # 500.. to end that side show..

Into the second inning.. the Indians are well on their way to the 10 run lead.. sheesh..

Yo, tribe having a hell of an inning.

Peck peck boom peck peck peck....and we are to gson's ten runs quickly.

91 pitches in three innings for Detroit pitchers.

Thats a complete game shutout for some guys.

TMacs bullpen session goes well...

Three Ks.

I remember us beating the Yankees 22-4 some years ago. That was fun, I miss Grady, Hafner, Choo, Victor, Asdrubal emerged too. That team was so close, just needed a few pieces. Fuck Boston!!

My Mom was in a nursing home near the end of her being cognizant, and we watched that game together...and had a ball.
