2022-2023 NBA Regular Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Not plot armor they missed the playoffs fair and square last year. It’s that the mid season trades they made are looking like they might end up insanely successful. Like they got a whole new team in exchange for Westbrook, Horton-Tucker, and a pick. Still not sure how they pulled that off

And yet they had people like yourself clamoring for them to trade TWO UNPROTECTED first rounders for Turner and Hield. This is why you don't do something reckless early in the season and exercise patience.

They'd be even better than they are right now had they made that move and they likely wouldn't have dug such a big hole with their record.

Turner and Hield are like perfect fits for that team.

Chalk up Cam Reddish's career, dude had a chance to stick it to NY and he is who they thought he was.
Lol, I watch the first half last night, that dude is trash, I whether have broken down Windler or no confidence Wade over his ass, and I’m being serious……..

I agree they got themselves at least as much talent for a lower price at the deadline. They pulled off one of the greatest midseason trades I've ever seen and solved their age problem. I was flabbergasted and didn't expect that at all - Hachimura, Beasley, Vanderbilt, Russell, and Bamba are basically a whole new team of guys 26 and under. But as @Cassity14 said they dug themselves a big hole with their current record, and Turner and Hield would also have been perfect fits for that team. I'm shocked by the sheer number of new solid players they got though. Remade the entire team. I honestly just didn't think that was possible.

Basketball aside....this Andrew Wiggins thing seems pretty scary. He's been away from the team for personal reasons for about a month.

Lakers feel like they don’t deserve to make the playoffs with all they’ve fucked around this year. Sat AD just because it’s a back to back and lost to the Rockets lol

Correct. Usually if it's something less serious there's a leak. This has been air tight.
I hope everything is okay with him. He never panned out the way we hoped he could but dude has had a solid career and I am hoping to see more from him.

Imagine being so poorly run of an organization that your entire staff thinks you're good enough to beat one of the worst teams without your best player. So you rest your 2nd best player..... and then lose.
