2022-2023 NBA Regular Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The live tweets from Warriors fans during the Suns game looked MIGHTY familiar. A whole lot of animus (deserved) toward Klay. Calls to get Steph out of GSW. Poole having an all time dismal performance. Finished with 2 points and 0 made baskets against a Suns team missing Cam Johnson and Chris Paul.

Steph had to score 50 to get within 15 of Phoenix.
(At least DG got the Cavs within 5 and a chance to steal)

this only makes me more mad that the Cavs let GSW (and every other team) 3-point the way to victory.

Wembanyama to Pelicans via the Lakers pick was a hot topic this morning with a few fellow Lakers fans co-workers.

They tell me they didn't trade the farm in Ingram, Lonzo, Hart, four unprotected round picks for AD. What the fuck is the considered the farm nowadays lol?

Should get rid of the charge call. It's just kind of dangerous. A guy is in mid air and then the defender runs under causing a collision.

I feel like trading ‘the farm’ for a guy is giving up a shit load and not getting a positive result out of it. People only really use that phrase when a trade is first made or if it turns out that it sucks. They won a title. If they hadn’t then it’d be a different story. AD was widely considered at least a top 10 player at the time, and a top 5 by many.

Also, none of those guys were really established players at the time and some were are least slightly disappointing. Trading the farm would be the Nets trading for Pierce and Garnett.

Right I don’t know why everyone always messes with Giannis. Because he’s foreign?
Because he is the best player in the league. They did it to LeBron too...i still remember Noah's "no one vacations in Cleveland" comments

The game has gotten too strenuous for the schedule

You look back to the 70s, 80s whatever people didn’t play defense like they do now

What defense are you talking about? No one plays defense today. Back in the day people played really tough d, locked on guys and fouled hard. Not this weak switching and meeting st the level of the screen nonsense
