2022 Fantasy Football

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
@Jack Brickman @ anyone else.

My buddy is panicking about Derrick Henry and offered me him and Robert Woods for Dameon Pierce and Sutton. I feel like that’s a good trade for me if/when Henry turns it on.

My league is .5 PPR. I have JT, Chubb, Henderson, and Gainwell (though I’m about to drop him) as my RBs. WRs are Deebo, Sutton, Hollywood Brown, MVS, and Dotson. I have a bid in for Garrett Wilson.

I think you're an idiot for posting on here asking for advice instead of immediately smashing that accept button.

This is the first year my wife took fantasy seriously.

.5 PPR, one extra W.R.T. flex.

Diggs needs 13 for her to break 200. A week after scoring 174.

So she ended up with 232.

Also mash the accept is 100% right.

No one worried Titans offensive line is bad/Henry being washed?

@Out of the Rafters at the Q @DJTJ
I've never liked Derrick Henry. He's severely overrated and the book has been out on how to stop him for years now.

I called the Titans being impostors last year and bet on them to lose the first playoff game.

That being said, that team isn't going away from him. I see him as a buy low RB1. He's going to get his stupid crazy amount of carries and break fourth quarter runs.

Seconded.

I care about two things. That the WR I start have a large target share. That the RB I start have a lot of touches. (As my money team suffers from injuries, and it can’t be replaced)

Derek Henry is a RB who will prob get 20+ touches a week, or damn close. And inside the 5, will likely get 2+ chances. Super overrated. Fantasy monster on touches.

I actually hate the touch-focused slant on fantasy. I focus on talent.

I still think that Derrick Henry is a talent--his talent is just that, if you let him batter against a defense for three quarters, and his stat line looks like 19 carries for 43 yards heading into the fourth, that defense is going to be tired.

If you give Derrick Henry a clean runway to get up to speed, he's the best talent in football at taking that to the house. His size and speed is fun to watch.

But, if I'm building an NFL team, I don't count on that happening. Watching Henry struggle because teams run 6-man defensive lines against him and plug every hole, making sure he can't get a clean runway is painful.

The Titans are just the most stubborn team in the modern NFL. When Henry has 20 unproductive carries, they keep feeding him. That's why he put up special stats, and I don't expect that to change.

Yeah, accept this ASAP before your friend decides to cancel the trade. Titans lost all their real receiving threats, so they're just going to have to feed him the ball eventually. They don't have many options.

I don't fully trust Sutton, especially with what we've seen thus far from Denver. He's never been a real consistent producer and there are a lot of options in the Denver passing game. Pierce probably has an OK season, but I don't think Houston does much of anything on offense and will likely have to throw a lot from being behind.

You can probably flip Henderson later on for a WR if you want/need to. If JT, Chubb, and Henry all have it going you basically win your league.

Trying to get some advice here. I have a fuck ton of WR and I need to make a trade as once Evans is off his suspension I will have too many players. Need to consolidate some players to upgrade are either RB or WR. This is a PPR league:

QB: Rodgers
RB: Fournette
RB: Dobbins? (when healthy)
WR: Lamb
WR: Allen
Flex: Bateman
TE: Hockenson

Bench:
RB: Harris. (NE)
RB: Stevenson (NE)
RB: Etienne
WR: Cooper
IR: Mike Evans

Having trouble deciding who to move. A WR needed team in my league has Swift, A Jones, and Pitts. Another very WR needy team has Taylor and Mixon.

I might need to wait until after this week, but does Lamb, Allen, and Harris for Taylor and Lockett seem like too much/not enough?

I appreciate everyone’s help. One more question. Would it be fucking nuts to put a bid of $40 in for Garrett Wilson, $20 on Irv Smith (I have Kmet), and $15 on Wentz (I have Russell Wilson).

I have Taylor. Man I’m not sure I could part with him. I don’t think that would get it done personally.

No, yes, maybe.

Do people really think Garrett Wilson is going to be super fantasy relevant? Seems like a typical Brownsian thing, make the kid look like a superstar then be goes back to being a rookie.

Yes, he’s crushing targets already even with EMoore and Corey Davis on the roster who aren’t scrubs in their own right.

What about Mixon and Metcalf for Lamb, Harris, and Cooper?
