2022 Fantasy Football

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Do people really think Garrett Wilson is going to be super fantasy relevant? Seems like a typical Brownsian thing, make the kid look like a superstar then be goes back to being a rookie.
Dudes soaking up targets.

I think you’re giving up too much at that point. You would be receiving Mixon and Metcalf right?

Yeah, I'd get Mixon. The point is I'm going to have to drop someone next week anyway once Evans is off suspension unless I make a 3 for 2 trade this week. It's likely going to wind up being Stevenson. Don't really want to drop him since I have Harris, but the only other options would be Cooper, Bateman, Dobbins or Etienne. Basically trying to package a couple guys to upgrade vs. cutting someone I don't really want to cut.

Maybe Mixon and Metcalf for Allen, Harris, and Stevenson makes more sense.

Pretty small sample size.

Had a huge 14 target game against the Browns non existent secondary which is probably skewing it a bit. Jets will also be undergoing a QB change soon I’m guessing.

More on the wait and see, I guess. Have him on my bench, would love for him to start beasting lol

I'd put Garrett Wilson as a low end wr2. I'd take him over Brandin Cooks, Darnell Mooney and Hollywood Brown ROS.

Maybe it’s just me, but I think his value drops when Zack Wilson comes back. I’m just not a big fan of him and think Garrett’s better off with Flacco this season.

I think he's an incredible talent. I don't think it's unreasonable to have him as the #1 receiver from this past draft.

I think the Jets have a better offense with Zach. Rising tides lift all boats.

I also wouldn't be surprised if he starts getting some manufactured touches on carries/pop passes and whatnot.

I actually hate the touch-focused slant on fantasy. I focus on talent.

It really depends. In redraft, if a mediocre RB is going to get all the touches, he can help you win a league.

In dynasty, my primary focus is long-term, and thus the focus is on talent.

And, of course, in redraft I am talking about later picks, and primarily at the RB position. I'm never picking James Conner, for example, where he was being drafted this year, because he's not a talent. But if he were an end of draft flyer with the potential to get the bulk of the touches in Arizona, I'd absolutely take a shot.

At WR, mediocre talent is worthless. Targets are earned. I'd rather draft a guy like Kadarius Toney who has league winner potential than draft 2022 Jarvis Landry. Yeah, you're probably dropping Toney after a month, but Landry will hang around on your roster all year because he's just good enough not to cut but not good enough to start.

Fuck I lost out on Wilson by $2. Lowered my Irv bid and still got him.

By the way that trade is going through. Hope it doesn’t blow up in my face.

Trying to decide on my WR2 this week for PPR (WR1 is Deebo)...

Hollywood Brown vs. LAR
Drake London @ SEA
Michael Thomas @ CAR

Leaning toward London, as he's been getting a huge target share and I think he's going up against the weakest defense of the three.

Call me crazy, but after seeing the way Amari consistently cooked Jaycee Horn in the beginning of the route, I have to think Michael Thomas is licking his chops.

I'd put Hollywood third, but I'd start Thomas. Can't blame you for starting London though.

Definitely a tossup at this point, and I'll probably change my mind several times before Sunday.

What a steal it was to get Thomas so late in the draft, though. Took a gamble on him starting to regain his old form and through two weeks it certainly appears to be the case.

I got MT or Nuk in every redraft league.

I prefer MT by a wide margin.
