2022 Minor League Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Micah Pries with ANOTHER homer..... A solo shot and his 4th in 4 days! He also has a BB and SB today...

Suspect he wins player of the week again (if you are able to win in consecutive weeks) and likely player of the month.

Pries with another BB and SB... Noel hits his second homer of the night, this one a 2 run jobber.

We have some seriously interesting bats in AA and above..

Rocchio producing will be killer for what this team is aiming for.

If you are into homers, this is your night.

If you are into pitching, this ain't your night...lol.

Noel now has 22 HR this season in 67 games.
What if you're into both?

OK, Brennen now has a BA of .360 and an OPS of .961. His OBP is well over .400. He's K'd 37 times and walked 35 times. That's 12% K and BB rates. All this in just over 300 PA. What gives?

What is in the air in Columbus, because everyone is whacking the ball... Great to see but gotta wonder about balls/ballparks/pitching something something - can it translate to MLB?

Lots of talk about why good looking prospects are not brought up to Cleveland to play utility roles....

Since 4-29, when Tyler Freeman began his season, he has had 235 PAs. In that same time span, Ernie has had 76.

Thats the difference between MLB utility player and true prospect.

It would not be in anybody best interest to bring Freeman up to sit on the bench.

The org has already set the roles for some of these younger players by the way they are being used. Clement and Palacios are gonna be role players on this MLB team. They are not being looked at as regulars. Prospects like Freeman and Valera are being looked at as everyday players and won't see much time in Cleveland until there is an opening for a regular spot in the lineup.

Sounds great. But reads like an excuse for Clement to continue to get ABs.

The Clippers are in Iowa vs the Cubs farm team after being in Omaha the prior week..

Perhaps both are reasons for the extra power (warmer weather, breeze heading out, meatball pitchers serving up fat tasty meatballs)..

I agree , but Clement never should be playing LF or 2B over Kwan and Gimenez again , just because there a LHP on the mound both of the players had proven to be better hitters against LHP…..Clement bat in the lineup while Straw and our catchers are not hitting is hurting this team…..
