2022 Minor League Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Yeah.

Hopefully some team like the Red Sox, or Dodgers, or Rays can offer him the opportunities a team like Cleveland never offers players. Just like what happened with Will Benson. Now he is up at the MLB level because of that too.
Any other promotions to follow Valera or otherwise? Figure JRod from Lake County to Akron. What about DeLauter? Any chance we see him this year?

Thanks.

I am agreeing with @DickyLeftridge I wouldn't mind knowing which guys from the draft will get some games in this season...

@MadThinker88 have you heard anything either about which od the draftees are playing this season for us.

If roster moves permit it, I am sure the top hitters, will all move up ranks here soon if they started out the season at the levels they are currently in. The question is how to get guys ABs more than their levels. Since Benson and Jones got moved up, it gives Valera the ABs at AAA. We all are hoping Rocchio gets AAA ABs to finish the season out...

I like Rocchio right where he's at.. finish the season on the upswing while in Akron as a 21 year old.... perhaps, even start the 2023 season in Akron with a pre-planned promotion to AAA...

He's at AAA in 23... you cannot really hold him back then since Rosario may not even be with us then...

As a 21/22 year old.. in AA.. that's really quite advanced.. Mentally/Baseball IQ wise..he can and will handle it.. Physical maturity is another thing..

Starting 2023 in Akron may reinforce him as a truly spectacular prospect.. but, a prospect, none the less. A promotion would be early.. or should be..

Hes only got three option years, so he kind of has to get some time at AAA in 23... If we keep Rosario, then I can see more AA time, but if we don't, he will be at AAA... I think he will finish the season at AAA.

Well.. therein lies the solution.. Rosario..isn't going anywhere.. until he does..

Otherwise.. Rocchio promotion to AAA should come after the start of the 2023 season......

I still want to see Rocchio get at least his feet wet in AAA...

If you go based on 1 year per level theory, Rocchio spent 40% of his time last year in Akron (44 games). Thus, he should at least get rest of year in AAA. Don't know if it makes that big of difference but Martinez and others deserve some promotions as well and get Rocchio closer to the bigs just in case Rosario is gone next year (at some point).

Will be interesting to see between Planez and Rodriguez who they promote to Akron. Planez was the No brainer 2 months ago, but considering now Rodriguez with both his recent last 30 game production and 2 years senior to Planez…I predict he gets the nod over Planez.

Is Micah Pries to Columbus next with Bradley being outright released?
