I thought Planez was a decent defender. From the little I've seen I thought he was better than OGon at a similar age.
I haven't seen him, was only taking from what other people wrote. But OGon has actually been fairly impressive to me in RF (at least versus expectations) although he started out looking sharper.

I thought that too for awhile, but they aren't related. They don't even spell their names the same way. Ours is Greene, that's Green. Ours from California, the draftee from Florida.

I don't know why I thought that, but presumably it was mentioned here before and seems possible enough. But they aren't related.

Says here they are definitely brothers. Only problem is it’s a DIFFERENT ELIJAH GREENE LOL.. pretty easy to see how we got that mixed up.

At my local Minor league game...

On a clear swing the batter gets hit by the pitch. The home ump awards first for HBP. Arguments happen. Call stands.

Next team comes up. Batter squares to bunt (doesn't commit) and gets hit. Ball trickles into play. Catcher picks up ball and tags batter who is laying on the ground. Home ump calls the batter out.... Arguments happen. Call reversed and called a foul.... More arguments, more arguments. The ball/strike count is cleared and the AB is started over with 1 strike

Peyton Battenfield with 7IP and 1 ER. ERA down to 3.19 in Columbus. SO are still down, but I don't think it has anything to do with his "stuff" or more advanced hitters. I almost suspect they want him to pitch to contact or he is working on certain pitches and mechanics. Bimbo addressed this a while back but I can't remember what he said.

Naylor with another HR tonight. Hitting .288 with a .984 OPS. Gotta be getting close to a promotion doesn't he?

First hitless game for Brennan that I've seen in a long time. BA all the way down to .335.

Cleveland Fans should take a look in on what is happening in Columbus today.
Currently the Clippers lead 2-0 entering the bottom of the 5th...

Take a careful look at the box score for the 4 pitchers already used by the Clippers. I will leave it at that..

Everyone has only pitched one inning, except for McCarty who threw two.

I also noticed that they've each given up an identical number of hits.

They are back playing in Columbus.

Rochester has been in a very bad stretch dropping its last 16 in a row. YIKES!
