2022 Season | Series #18 | Rangers @ Guardians | June 6-8, 2022

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
damn you people have a weird weather pattern. I was thinking your rain was going to be pretty light based on the radar. But looks like another .25 inches of rain are still expected the rest of the day. I would say i think at least one game should probably get played
They should have no issues getting the 6 pm game played. The 3 pm one might be a little tough... We'll see.

The Texans are 7-4 when Martin Perez starts; otherwise they are 18-24. Perez is second in the majors in ERA among starters.

He won't be starting this series.

The Rangers are 11-17 in games started by the pitchers who will be starting in this series.

Since moving back to Cleveland area last year, I have learned to never pay attention to extended forecasts and to frequently recheck daily/hourly forecasts as the weather changes are frequent and apparently unforecastable (yes, a word I made up).

so you brought the crummy weather back with you???!!?????

If your AC goes out in the summer do you even attempt to spend the night there or do you automatically book a hotel room?
He fires up the swamp cooler in that case. The problem is when the power outages hit because Hoover Dam can't produce.

so once again I am all about a weather thread. However from Oct of 21-March of 22 forecasts more than 3ish days out were absolutely terrible. One of the prime models was giving out some really weird results which was skewing a lot of forecasts. In the spring of this year a lot of those issues appeared to have been solved but I still wouldnt trust a 4(+) day forecast as anything other than a best guess at the current trends.

that said hourly forecasts are a bit different and rely on a couple of different modeling systems. They are better, but shouldnt be counted on more than "a line of thunderstorms will develop and move through the area between 4-8". For popup showers/thunderstorms no models can do anything other than guess a general area and time.

-I didnt go to school for meteorology because it required more math than being a mechanical engineer, and in engineering its a lot easier to find a job AND it pays a lot more.

The radar always tells the story.

Doesn't look too bad after 2:30..

This is really frustrating I really like this young team, we have our best players lock up for plus years, I need to see more of Gimenez, Oscar, Kwan, Miller….This Team reminds me of the Cavs , nice young team that could surprise teams….

It’s it possible to even put a retractable dome on the existing stadium, and can we even play in it why the construction is going on…Probably have to use Browns stadium temporary?
