2022 Season Series #29 | Tigers @ Guardians | July 14-17, 2022 (End of first half)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I'm not unhappy at all. I'm extremely excited about the future of this team/organization. I just think this is an interesting challenge that could present itself to the FO and Tito. Let me be very clear, it's a good problem to have.

I'm not sure what that corresponding move will be or if it will make me happy TBH. I've been suggesting for quite some time now that there are going to be some difficult decisions to make in the very near future. Things have a way of working themselves out though. My angst isn't that a prospect will fail because we all know that is the likelihood. Instead, it is not finding out and watching them outperform who they chose to keep. Even at that, I want to be able to say that they were given an opportunity here, but failed to take advantage of it or were outperformed instead of just accepting that they weren't given that chance. Clear as mud?

You need to catch up or just sit back and listen to the conversation.

and no, your definition is different than mine....thanks..

At this point they are being snubbed. Will they continue to be is the question?
you can't be snubbed if you are unable to supplant the person who DID earn the spot.. sorry.. you're the one that needs to sit back.. and at least attempt to listen..

Valera is just a different hitter. His short, quick stroke provides plenty of bat to ball skills with the power upside. He's a 21 yr old in the Eastern League posting very good numbers. There's a reason behind the hype.
This isn't about who is or isn't worthy of hype, but just about what kind of players they are. If Valera is to live up to said hype he needs to figure out how to hit the ball with more consistency, however he happens to do that.

Damn rain. Enduring four days without baseball Is hard enough (right in the middle of the season) but now five? And two games in one day doesn't make up for it.

Better too many good left-handed hitting outfielders than not enough.
Even when there is an unbalance and outright void of RH hitting outfielders?

This rain out hurts a lot.

It means one less start for Bieber, and down the road one more start for a AAAA SP, or worse.

In a season that may go down to the wire, thats a big deal.

********,

Lets make a totally unrealistic assumption.

Lets pretend that all of our LH corner OFers end up being productive MLB players. We still can't play even half of them.

Good point CATS, but the real problem is that we know they won't all be "productive MLB players" and we want to keep the right one(s). It would be nice to exchange a couple for a good RHH OFer for sure. Get over to BTV and get 'er done! lol
