2022 Vent Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Steelers collapse, Ravens lose their lead and lose.

NFL is just tough man.

Yes, we are a flawed team.

Could be 4-0 though. Which is both encouraging and depressing.
The scary thing about it is we haven't played a good QB yet.

At least we can have more faith in him on completing a pass and not throwing an interception when you need yards the most.
You’re not wrong that Watson is probably better in this situation, but Jacoby is like the 5th biggest problem with this team right now. This defense is complete ass and if we can’t trust them to beat a QB who completed 7 passes then I don’t care who our QB is - we aren’t going far.

No. He doesn't.
Yeah he does. We have two of the best running backs and from the goal line on 2nd down you want to pass where a bunch of shit can go wrong. You only need two yards, with three tries left.

Amari at home - Big beast

Amari on the road - who's amari? where's amari? is he playing?

better get used to it cos thats been the story of his career

This is not a good football team and won't be when Watson comes back either.

They've played absolutely no one and they still look like complete shit defensively. It's terrifying to think of what a competent QB could do to this defense. There is zero resistance up the middle at any level. And the fact that Ward has been ass outside of the pick today is deeply concerning.

Steelers had to stick in a rookie QB. Ravens played probably the best team in football.

We’re 2-2 vs Mayfield, Flacco, Trubisky, and Mariotta. We have yet to play even an average offense and the defense has looked awful, which was supposed to be the strength of this team.

We just as easily could be 1-3 or 0-4. Literally a 58 yard FG from being 1-3. If the D doesn’t magically transform starting next week, things are going to get ugly quick.

Guys don’t worry. Los said we would be leading the division at week 7 against Baltimore. Trust the process.

Steelers won't be relevant but both the Ravens and Bengals have played tougher teams than we have. We needed to go at least 3-1... and so far I'm getting the feeling that coaching is holding us back right now. The only part that I truly blame the players on was the Falcons TD drive where they ran the ball the whole time.

Stefanski did not call a good game today. Two or three really nice play calls but overall not good.

Woods called a better game but still was predictable in key situations and it hurt us. Maybe Woods overall called an okay game but the situational play-calling continues to be a major weak point. He also has considerably less bandwidth (compared to Stefanski) because of how disappointing he has been in his time here.

Catching this afternoon Packers game.

"Packers defense have given up 0/16 3rd down conversions on 3rd and 8 and longer."

Wish we had their defensive coordinator.

This team is going to get absolutely skull fucked by the Chargers next week.

At least it'll be at home so they can get the "Fire Joe" chants going early.

The Falcons had the football 9 times and scored touchdowns on two possessions. I'm not sure what else you can really ask for out of an NFL defense in 2022.

I have been plenty critical of Woods at times this year, but the defense played well enough to win.
