2023-24 Playoff Series #1 | Game #7 | Magic @ Cavs | May 5, 2024

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Suggs was basically carried off the court in game 1 or 2... What the fuck did they shoot his knee up with??

Allen is indeed a star wars nerd and not a center I want my favorite team paying big money to. See what kind of wings are out there come July, put Mobley on a weight training plan and commit to him being the center.

Steroids

Inject him with all the steroids

Also my one "favorite" part of this series was the tweet when Merrill was playing in game 5, "Wow this lineup looks like the fans made it up"...and we won............

Player health comes first, as it should be.

Allen is weak sauce. Always has been. I won't say anymore so the usual suspects feelings aren't hurt.

it’s a pain tolerance thing for Allen. It wasn’t medical saying he couldn’t. That’s why he’s been a game time decision.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the Cavs get fined for playing games with Allen's status during this series. It's obvious he was never going to play. And he won't play against the Celtics if they somehow win today.

i deleted some posts.

there is no need to snipe against each other before the game has even started. at least wait until 6 mins left in the first quarter.

Again, he didn't crack his ribs. It takes 1-3 weeks for full healing with a contusion. I suspect Jarrett is the sensitive type.

You're looking at this the wrong way. JB isn't getting fired for losing game 7, he's getting fired because of everything leading up to game 7. For getting into this situation in the first place.

Making decisions like this is not about one game. It's a body of work, and JB has underperformed.

Exactly. We know what a championship level coach needs to do in the playoffs. Ty Lue showed us what level of adjustments are needed to be a championship coach. JBB isn't anywhere near that level. They are basically on different ends of the spectrum really.

He just doesn't process the game at a fast enough pace to be a good playoff coach. A lot of us knew this before he ever got to the playoffs with the Cavs. His regular season adjustments were too slow.

He also hasn't developed our players well enough to keep him around. If you don't have one or the other, you just aren't a NBA HC. He has had ample time to adjust to being a HC, at this point its holding this team back and that's why you fire him.

I forgot ESPN tries to squeeze as much nonsense out of their mediocre pregame show as possible and a 1PM start is really 1:10PM or later. Why couldn't NBC snipe the package from them instead of Turner? Shame.

Wilbon hyping up the Mitchell's last game as a Cav

Bickerstaff is a clown for starting Morris in game 6 just to go back to starting Okoro in game 7.

No reason to have made that change, especially bc it made Niang have to play minutes again after being seemingly out of the rotation. Homie is just throwing shit at the wall, and when it doesn't stick, throwing older shit at the wall.
Niang shouldn't have played as much as he has. JBB janks Merrill after he misses a few shots and doesn't see the floor again.. Okoro cannot guard Banchero and either can Niang. Now I don't know if Allen and Mobley are a good to go, but if they are, JBB has to slide one of them on the Magic forward..I'm still wanting him to get Jones in just for some rebounds and height purpose..TT cannot handle him but for only a stretch. Since JBB doesn't have a set scheme in his mind, go zone and confuse them.or trying doubling them or even pressing them when they bring the ball up..I don't get why he doesn't utilize the things he could be doing but doesn't.
