We’re still in a learning process regarding this team. Great game tonight. Question is what adjustments are made when Spyda, Caris and Okoro are back.

We’ve got talent on the team but there’s a long way to go to figure out how best to use it and who gets minutes.

Allen got the better of Jokic tonight. Very few games that happens with Jokic all season. He’s got Embiid on Tuesday.

Can’t wait for Tuesday’s game.

Would probably trade him for OG and Boucher (only salary filler that really works) but A: not sure Masai would and B: Would not be excited about potentially facing a Mitchell, Barnes, Siakam led TOR

IF we get to the point were we move Mitchell, I would prefer it to be out West( MIN? NOP? ) but probably couldnt limit ourselves to only Western Conference teams.

I really liked that DG/Strus/Wade/Mobley/JA starting lineup. Everyone knew their roles, everyone were true sized for their position, and the defense was phenomenal.

That's not going to work in the playoffs, but it's good for regular season wins.

Imagine if Wade was Lauri

Mitchell wants to go to New York. If you're going to trade him, it has to be a place that makes sense for all three parties. I'd do a sign and trade with him to Brooklyn for one of their wings [Bridges or Johnson] if it ever came to that. Mitchell gets his money and New York, Brooklyn gets him locked up, and we get the wing we've needed before Mitchell came here.

Niang with his best game of the season. Porter was great again. I dunno how you can minimize his role going forward, though I expect it to happen because I also don't think you can minimize LeVert all things considered.


Allen was the player of the game for me. Really was up to the challenge tonight.

I think Levert looks better with a pg, personally. He and Porter looked good the other night. The other reason I like that is it is a very different look defensively than the starting backcourt. I think they should play together.

Allen was a +42 in 29 minutes despite a modest line of 15/5/5. Very impressive game by the big man.

Wade did a great job defensively on Gordon, holding him to 11 points in 32 minutes and a -18 while Wade was a +25.

Denver has the best starting five in the game. Tonight Murray was out so there were only four but their starters were all between -13 and -31 despite no Mitchell, LeVert, and Okoro.

Cavs have won three in a row and five of seven. It's coming together but the schedule continues to be tough. Next up are Philly (10-3), Miami (8-5), and the Lakers (7-6). Looking at the five worst teams in each conference the Cavs have played just one game against those 10 teams (Detroit).

The Cavs are getting better and so far have played the 4th hardest schedule. They'll move up after the next three games. Their remaining schedule is the 9th easiest.

Mitchell is a smart man. He sat there and watched how we played. If he cares like I think he does, he'll make adjustments to make this thing work.

He is smart. Ok. He is. But some people want to be the “man” not sure we need that I have no issue with him. Just looking back not sure we really needed him

Great team game for sure. Lots to like. Very hard to assess who and what we are with the injuries AND tough schedule. I guess I’ll continue doing what I said before the season. Enjoy this 50 win team with an expectation of a first round exit because of JBB. Very much hope I’m wrong about the latter part.

Also not hating, but we also didn’t have Vert who tends to take too much upon himself when DM is out. Having neither, we didn’t have ball stoppers out there and it was fun to watch. Not saying for a second that we are better without those two, but it makes us play in a way that helps he whole team look better
