Back to the game — Mitchell 32 minutes, six players 23-29 minutes, Wade and Niang 15, Sam 10, CPJ & Jones 2.

Even the minutes police have nothing to chew on.

This type of balance will be priceless in the playoffs. We’ll always have fresh players when needed.
 
  • The Kings crossed the 100-point threshold at the 8:44 mark in the fourth quarter. They would go on to score 10 points the rest of the quarter, and finish with only 18 fourth quarter points. The Cavs held them to 6-20 shooting from the field, and 2-11 from three-point range for the quarter.
  • The Cavs 136 points was their second highest on the season. They scored 140 at home against Washington on January 3. Likewise, their 36 assists were the second highest total. Only the Washington game was higher with 37 points.
  • Despite the high pace, the Cavs outscored the Kings 31-12 in fast break points.

 
Unbelievable display of 3-point shooting. The more they do it, the better they get.

Mitchell with another fantastic game; a +28 in 33 minutes. He, Allen, and Strus were a great combination. Mobley had 14 rebounds, 7 assists, and 2 steals, but he still has no touch on the short jumpers. Once he develops that he's an All-Star every year.

As a team the Cavs had 36 assists against 9 turnovers. That 4/1 ratio is exceptional. The defense held the Kings to 8 points under their scoring average. Anytime we do that we should win.

LeVert had a line of 17/6/7 in 24 minutes and was a +18. He does everything; score, assist, and rebound. He should be in the conversation for 6th man of the year.

Sabonis is dope. 19 rebounds, 15 assists, and 6-for-9 from the field. He's a point guard in a center's body. And Barnes was 6-for-10 on 3's.

The Kings' problem is they have no bench outside of Monk. The rest of them went 6-for-19. Monk had 18 points in 24 minutes and was stil a -19. Also, it looked like they ran out of gas in the 4th quarter, scoring only 18 points.

The Cavaliers are getting pretty good and they're only going to get better.
