That’s beyond egregious.NBA is a joke.
Literally didn't go after the ball.
Nobody was stopping Doncic tonight. He was hitting step-back 3's off one foot. Did you see his first bucket? Pump faked Mobley into the air, took the contact, and hit a baseline hook shot off the glass with heavy spin. Crazy.Watched a recap and it blows my mind that JBB never thought of putting Wade on Doncic.
How badly were we coached tonight? Asking politely…
True, though Cavs were up 3 when he came back in, so they were +5 without him during that stretchIt's interesting that Mobley was on the bench down the stretch even though he finished with 12 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists (wow!), and a steal in 28 minutes. Evan scored the first two buckets of the 4th quarter and added two free throws but was taken out with 6:48 left and didn't come back in until there were 29 seconds left for defensive purposes.
When he went out the Cavs were down by 2 points. Two minutes and 10 seconds later they were down by 10.

I assume JBB's thinking was that nobody was going to stop Luka so we need to outscore him. He put an offensive team on the court with Garland, Mitchell, Struss, LeVert and Mobley or Allen. If Wade was checking him Luka scores anyway and we're playing 4 on 5 offensively. That's my guess.
If you watch Strus after he releases the shot you can see he's thinking "It has a chance, it has a chance" and then right before it splashes he starts turning away, knowing it was good before it actually landed in the twines - no rim. Awesome!
