2023-24 Season | Game #6 | Cavs @ Pacers | Nov. 3, 2023 | 7:00 p.m.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
If they wanted this in-season tournament to mean literally anything at all - the winner of the whole thing should get an automatic playoff bid.

It's going to be business as usual for teams. Might even see some bullshit load management. I doubt the players care much at all.
I'm of the mind that the NBA doesn't care if the in season tournament "means anything" for the teams, besides being awarded some extra cash for doing well. It primarily just is a way to add a wrinkle to a couple regular season games to make the long season not feel like as much of a slog.

I started being okay with the in-season tournament after I started recognizing it for what it is instead of lamenting what it isn't.

Having our starters back will make me think we'll score points tonight. 129-121, Cleveland.

I think it’s cool, I’m sure most fans will enjoy it more than the players. The NBA just spent about 3 million just to provide a floor for each team. They’ll use them for a month and that’s it.

Okay, I think Allen will just be so-so tonight. Say 8 and 8 and a block or two. BUT, Mobley will be great: 20-10 with 4 blocks. He'll be so much better at PF than C.

Whoever is being guarded by Toppin better show up and take advantage of his porous defense

In season tournament is nothing but a money grab. They have even added
an $500K prize to the winning coach.

The whole idea is nonsense.
Also it's to get the teams to not sit out players...trying to also copy the NCAA...but their inseason tourneys are more interesting ...and they also have their conference matchups..BIG 10 vs ACC...SEC vs Big 12...etc..gimmick

Whoever thought that blue color for the court was a good idea needs to be shipped off to North Korea to do hard labor for life. That hurts my eyes.

Let's go out there and start working towards winning the NBA treble!

Turned this game on and had a headache looking at that stupid court.
