Their salaries are virtually identical…DG at $39 million plus, and FVV at $40. I’m not sure another small guard is the way to go but he’s definitely more physical than DG. In fact, he wound up guarding JA several times tonight and never let him score. Any time DG has been in that similar situation, it hadn’t been pretty

From what I see, FVV makes $42.8M next year and Garland's at $36.7M. I'm not sure what else, but I think the Cavs would want something additional. Maybe somehow work someone like Eason into a deal, or flip our 1st for the Nets 1st.
