2023-24 Season | Game #71 | Cavs @ Heat | March 24, 2024 | 6:00 p.m.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The thing that kills is me is that none of his prior teams thought to give him the benefit of the doubt, despite fairly tough circumstances.

FOr instance, he took over mid-season for a fired Kevin McHale in Houston. They made the playoffs.

And he didn't keep the job past that lone season.

Then he took over mid-season in Memphis for David Fizdale. Had a terrible season. They kept him around one more year. Missed the post-season.

And they fired him.

For w/e reason these other organizations were able to evaluate him quickly and move on but we couldn't do it.

Mind you, every team he's become head coach of was initially on an interim basis. No one has actually picked this guy to be their head coach outside of that scenario so far.
Well did those other teams have bernie?

JBB's postgame presser...he's saying guys are tired and the tough schedule just caught up with us. He's downplaying the loss, essentially saying guys are just tired and it was a bad night.
That's a good sign. Until now, I wouldn't have believed he was able to recognize it.

He is the 6th youngest coach in the NBA and one of the longest tenured coaches. Not sure this one makes sense here...

All three times he's been a head coach he was initially coach of that team on an interim basis, taking over for a fired head coach mid-season.

It's literally exactly how it's happened. How does his age change that? That's what has happened.

Evan Mobley is not a great NBA player…. He’s serviceable but he’s nothing more than an average role player…
Where do you rank him in Jalen Green, Scottie Barnes, Cade Cunningham though

I am not going to argue over this one, JBB signed an extension with the team, he is one of the youngest coaches in the league and has been the same head coach for how many seasons now, he has been with the Org since 2019... etc etc etc...

You don't think Jalen has leap frogged Mobley with his recent play which looks not only maturing, but a promising scorer in a scoring league?
No... But I wasn't meaning anything bad of PIP other what he has posted about Mobley in the past in the Mobley thread. That was all...

I'm looking at him stepping up post ASB at a much needed time, and at such a time where a 3rd year top 3 pick should indeed step up. These are the games to watch in the current era of the NBA. Such a time where JBB folds like clean bed sheets.
He has a few weeks to show what type of player he can be. Mobley offers way more than just scoring, which again, in my opinion makes him way more valuable than the ones you mentioned. I also have Scotte Barnes on a small tier above Baker Mayfield on my all-time favorite professional ahtletes so do not listen to me lol lol lol

Watching it now….”collectively it caught up to us “. “We had a bad night, we’ll be better tomorrow “ “injuries have caught up to us and we’re exhausted mentally and physically”
So if they are exhausted release the bench and gi

So if guys are tired give our bench some burn. Its not like we are winning anyway. Bring in our playoff rotation the last 3 games to fine tune. Its not about building chemistry with all of the injuries.
