Maybe it sometimes about rotations and X’s and O’s? I still find it remarkable that the son of an NBA coach, who grew up around the game, only ever talks about effort and motivation, and never the more strategic aspects of games.

The fact is, JBB knows very little about X's and O's. Even though this is now his 8th season as head coach.

You can even hear him mention it in the clip above, he keeps the game plans very simple without much changes from opponent to opponent.

I will give him credit that he has gotten a lot of mileage and wins over his career from telling guys to just play hard and give more effort...but we've hit the ceiling on that getting us anywhere further.

Just hard to watch after last playoffs

I wil say Struss is great. Every game Iv watched he’s been aggressive and solid.


I truly believe we need to trade Garland


He should be an easy 25 ppg by now. He can get to spots easily but his touch and confidence seemed shook yesterday

Just seems like the fact that the guy’s been around the NBA since he could crawl, and still doesn’t know that much about basketball strategy, probably isn’t a very bright guy. I mean, _I_ can tell guys to play hard. Pay ME $5 million!
