2023-24 Season | Game #73 | Cavs @ Hornets | March 27, 2024 | 7:00 p.m..

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
If we just fire JBB, and it proves that isn't enough. Mitchell is out of here.

Too much at stake.

That would be a huge mistake to assume a coaching change alone fixes everything.

I just doubt it. They have serious talent problems.

We have good players, we don't have great players. Outside Mitchell. And none of them have a killer instinct, which is even worse.
Talent is there. Fit and killer instinct Are not

The only problem here is that he doesn't have Don to bail him out. Otherwise, there is nothing to figure out. His second-half and post-season records tell us this is normal.

Can someone who is smarter than me with pulling data track what Okoro’s 3 point volume has been since after the All Star break?

Actually specifically since the Knicks game

Then Don is gone and this entire nepotist FO and staff needs cleaned out.

He's going to be gone after what happens this year? No.... If that's the case, then he's gone. And it's done.

Dude, fire him now, do you honestly think that is making a difference?

I don't like JBB, everyone is mad, and want to throw it all at him.

First off, I think people are overrating the importance of coaching to a degree, in the NBA.

We've seen plenty of teams win championships with shit coaches. I'm not saying NBA coaching doesn't matter, but I'm not sure it's as bad as lot make it out to be.

JBB is not turning it all to shit.

Do I think he's a good coach? No. He's bad.

I don't think he's the sole problem.

We won 51 games with him.

We went to the playoffs with him.

Why are we regressing? It's not just a JBB issue.

Some may say injuries, we dealt with a lot of injuries last season.

This team is getting worse. They are worse than last year.

I'm not seeing guys like Garland or Mobley getting better.

Garland went from an all-star player, to a guy far from that.

Boy, what fuck has happen to that guy. I was never that big of a Garland fan, but I thought he was a legit all-star.

Definitely not even close to that right now.

44% in Feb, his best

Back to career 35% this month

Did better with less minutes which if you are coach watching or up to date on stats would have moved him back to a bench role today.

Sam should be starting if you are starting 2 bigs

Post all star break 1.7 3PM per game at 38.4%

For month of Feb, 1.7 3PM per game at 44.9%

For month of Mar, 1.7 3PM per game at 36.4%

Come on bud. JB needs iso plays to win. We aren't getting enough from Garland in that regard, but that shouldn't matter and shouldn't be needed. The motion in the offense should create shots. Mobley doesn't have a chance.

Talent is there. Fit and killer instinct Are not

I don't see the talent like everyone else though. I agree, fit, that is true.

Garland is much worse than he was two years ago. He's not close to the same player.

Mobley is barely getting better. Very disappointing.

These are major problems people just want to ignore.

They were suppose to be the catalyst and promise of where we wanted, and hoped to go.

And they've not been close to what we hoped.

I used to say, trading them, no way. I don't feel that way at all about either one anymore.

Didn’t get to watch - thankfully. But how in the Hell did we lose to Charlotte while making 19 3’s and shooting 43%? Did we play absolutely no defense?

I agree. No matter who the coach is, I think the 4 is just less than the sum of its parts.

The fit is crazy bad. The DG/Spida pairing in theory should be lethal offensively but they are just ok while Defensively they can easily be exploited.

The inverse is true for Allen/Mobley. They are good defensive players but have difficulty closing out possessions with rebounds. Offensively, they muddy up the spacing by having limited offensive skills outside 5 ft.

Not sure which coach can solve this conundrum.
