I didn't like trading a third rounder for Moore, hated trading #42 straight up for Moore.

This is fair - Browns will cross receiver off the list of needs to move back a round, and the positions of need should have strong depth in the third round. They thread the needle for value, talent and cap health.

The only real cost here is casual Browns fans lose all the fun of draft weekend. As an NFL draft dork who researches past the top 50, I'm fairly unperturbed.

Played 11 games, was on pace for about 900 yards.

Had some okay games and some shit ones.

Solid for a 3rd guy but I really wish they would've shot higher. Think you could likely draft a dude at 42 better than him.

I read that at first as though we were sending our second and our third and about fell out of my chair.

Thats a stretch, Moore has caught passes from Flacco, Zach Wilson and Mike White. Lets see how much better he'll look with a real QB throwing him the ball. Here is a quote from an article regarding his rookie season.

"Over his final six games of the year, Moore averaged 5.7 receptions for 76.5 yards and 0.83 touchdowns per game. Those numbers would put him on pace for approximately 96 receptions, 1,300 yards, and 14 touchdowns per 17 games. That sounds like the stat-line of a “WR1” if I’ve ever heard one."

Great a sub 6 foot WR with injury concerns.

Hey look: you described most of the top 10 receiver prospects in this draft. I've never seen so many "blue chip" prospects that weigh under 180 pounds. You don't wear flags around your belt in the AFC North!

2021 me thought he was tremendously fun on tape.

2023 me is really excited to see him get consistent slot targets.
I'm glad some of you have high regards for him.....when I watch him and see his size, he doesn't look that exciting to me or WR2 from his highlight reels (Maybe because he is so small). Hope all of you guys who are saying a good move are right.
