Arias.. hit on the right hand/wrist area.. didn't look good..
edit: Right wrist/hand.. he was grimacing as he was walked off
the field immediately after he was hit & not moving his hand /
shaking it out.. This is not the time for this.. not at all..

He lost time last season getting hit by a pitch...
If Arias is out, either Rocchio or Freeman ends up being moved into the bench spot...

Ps. Also it looks like a pitcher may have to hit tonight since all their listed position players have already been in the game. So we may see something strange coke next inning.
Arias can't catch a break. I think that's the third time he's been hit on the hand in a year.

If Arias needs IL time, it'll be ride or die with Freeman.
If for some reason it is not...
Maybe a last second add like Keston Hiura + cash for Owen Miller.... But not Rocchio, he's not ready/forcing it.

An injury to Hentges really is giving Herrin the chance to face the wolves and see what he is made of...

Ps. McGeary is a 6'5 kid from Colorado Mesa State who plays 1B, C, LF and RF. He may follow Pries in a sense of being a guy who can sneak under the radar but with power rather than solid contact skills. (35 HRs in 57 games in 22).

Relief pitchers sometimes find jobs later anyways, and Pinto isn't a bad pitcher at the end of the day.
