The Pacers, Jazz and Hornets all have more picks than they probably know what to do with and could be viable partners..
We also always see picks in the late 1st round get sold, and in the years where Cavs don’t have 1st round picks, it may be a good strategy to buy back in to offset those assets lost..
It does seem if the Cavs want one of Kobe Brown, Julian Strawther, Marcus Sasser, etc they’ll have to move up to do so but going into the 20s brings some other guys into the mix like Colby Jones, Maxwell Lewis, Dariq Whitehead (who Id be all over) and Kris Murray..

I would guess on 5 guys.
Whitehead, Leonard Miller, Strawther, Sasser or Dereck Lively.
Miller and Lively are longer shots but could be there in the low 20’s.
In general, I really like the band of players in that spot for our needs. Would be a nice move if we could pull it off.

I never would have thought we’d be interested in getting in the 20s. Been thinking about Kobe Brown this whole time but I’d be ecstatic to get Whitehead or Strawther. Personally I want Kris Murray but someone will take him before.

The issue with Bates is that his athleticism was only otherworldly vs high schoolers. He didn't translate well. Im out on him. Hes Billy Preston 2

6'8" and 179? Egads. Dean Wade is listed at 6'9" and has 50 pounds on him.

Maybe I saw his height with shoes as he was listed over 6'9, either way those measurables are still bad
