The coverages for these games have been abysmal. Half the time they are bitching about non-flags.

Yeah, because we at home want to watch flag football. The games have been excellent, and officiated like they should be.

Yeah I was shocked when they started going on in the first half about how Purdy getting a bloody lip “should” have been roughing the passer. The only plays that “should” be roughing the passer is when the defender swings a baseball bat at the QB’s knees when his back is turned
 
For those thinking the Chiefs will run away with the Super Bowl, SF opened as 2-2.5 point favorites. KC has won their last two games as underdogs, but think the line is appropriate. The Niners are stacked at pretty much every position except the most important one. The question is can they win the SB in spite of elite QB play.

They were extremely underwhelming tonight at home facing a worse defense before the game was handed to them by atrocious coaching and a face bounce.

I’m definitely leaning Chiefs

Yeah I hate the Super Bowl for that reason. I watch the game but all the other shit is horrible. The worst part is I saw Super Bowl V and every one since then so I’ve seen more bullshit tacked on to it every year.

Another topic, if I'm a Lions fan, I'm not demoralized. They are SB close.

What did them in is their head coach, is a fucking idiot. And they got to get better defensively.

I'd fire Campbell and go get Vrabel if I were them.

Campbell is the guy that gets you near the top of the hill, not the guy that gets you over.

I hope they don't make the mistake, of being satisfied with this, and just run it back, thinking next year will be better. Most the times, it doesn't work that way.

They got to see this as 'we're close' but not close enough, and make that extra push.

If they do, they are my pick to be in the SB next year. If they just run it back, I don't think so.
 
Holy shit guys, I didn’t watch the third quarter because I thought the Lions had it, so I didn’t realize that Campbell passed up ANOTHER field goal on a fourth and 2 in the 3rd quarter! Incredible!

Maybe not as dumb as passing up a FG on 4th and 3 with 7:30 left in the 4th and actually down by 3…but it means they could have and should have won the game just by doing obvious shit…wow
