I think he's a lot better off learning how to catch better than play the remaining positions. We have Arias, Freeman, Rocchio, et al for the rest.

He's already logged a lot of innings at 1B, 3B, and C and he was converted from 2B, so getting him reps there won't be an issue...

I get why OF would be but I want him in a utility role, baring injuries, so I want him to see some OF...

Now, if you are expecting him to be backup C with cameos outside of C, then yeah, skip doing OF, just do the INF reps...

Worrying about something that may or may not happen years from now...and it won't be in 2024...and making decisions on it that effect 2023 and possibly 2024...is a great way to get fired.
