2023 Season | Series #28 | Braves @ Guardians | July 3-5, 2023

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The Braves are that t-ball player that hits a homer every time and fields every ball hit in play and makes all 21 outs themselves.

The Guardians are the kids at the edge of the infield and outfield grass making dirt piles and eating clay.

That’s the summation of this series, no need to expand further.

They got their ass beat by a real squad…

In one game.

We were competitive in two, winning one.

Atlanta is crushing everybody, with a .674 winning percentage, and outscoring opponents by 1.7 runs per game.

Our pitching did keep them under their 7 runs per game average for 2 of the 3 games. The offense is still the weak point of this team. Too many holes or non-contributors staying in the lineup. Glad to see Fry getting more opportunities, but still wish we could see Oscar up and Straw as our 4th OF. Freeman needs regular at-bats too.

Where is all the talk about Rosario after last night’s game or are we just discussing him when he has a good game? OPS still below .700 and significantly contributed to last night’s loss. I mean if we’re using game by game analysis then let’s do it.

Yes.

If he does anything good, @CATS44 likes to make a post to show the whole world how smart he is for yelling at anyone who dared to suggest that the Guardians should move on from Amed Rosario.

And, all those times he shits the bed? Crickets. Everyone knows Amed isn't good enough to warrant the damage you're doing to your team's long-term outlooks by stealing playing time from our younger guys.... even @rcristal has come around to the light.

There's just one hold-over who thinks pointing out every hit Rosario gets justifies his wrong stance.

I'll say if Quantrill had capable infield play he didn't pitch a bad game. Settled in after the first and I can remember one hit in the first that Rosario should have got

Yeah, Cal looked a bit unlucky, but he also didn’t look sharp.

Rosario being defensive garbage didn’t help things either.
