These will be impressive wins

Don't know if we can hold them to a .140 BA, no home runs, and an average of 2.0 runs per game like we did in KC, but we definitely have the edge in starting pitching, especially with Greinke out.

The Guardians only scored 11 runs in three games if you don't count the 7 runs they scored in one inning against James McArthur, who is back in the minors. That's the only inning he's pitched in his major league career.

We didn't exactly rough up their major league staff in KC and we've really sucked at home.

Is everyone else also mad at Quantrill?

What is to be mad about? Clearly he isn’t “right” which is why he’s back on the 15 day IL. A healthy Quantrill solidifies the back of any rotation and eats innings.

I wouldn’t mind giving Morgan another starting shot or Curry. But probably won’t happen even if we were to trade another SP.

I don't think Morgan will go back to starting...

Curry will be stretched back out next spring, but he's almost doing to well in his current role to move him out of it...

No thanks on Curry, if a primarily 2 pitch pitcher puts up an xFIP of 5 pitching about 2 innings per game, I wonder what he'd look like if he was stretched out further. It would not be good. No thanks on Morgan either, he was a bad starter who was able to gain a few MPH as a reliever which he'd probably lose again if he were to start.

If we're limiting Allen's innings and that's why he's in AAA, Quantrill is about the best we got, and that isn't great. But sure, trade Bieber for a bat. No damage to the rotation at all, turns us into a true playoff contender.

Nah, he's doing his best, he can't help it right now he sucks. He's in a rough patch, he's been pretty solid for 2 years he gets some slack from me.

I'm mad at him because he admitted his arm was hurting since the middle of last season, but he elected to pitch in the World Baseball Classic anyway. So he elected to cut short his off-season and ramp up his preparations so he could pitch competitively in March despite coming off a sore arm.

I'm sure he loves Canada but he screwed over the Guardians and himself.
