Still waiting on the final numbers, but it's looking like the Jeudy deal is 4 years, $65.5M with $41M guaranteed. $13M of both the $65.5M total salary and the $41M in guaranteed money was already locked in for 2024 when the Browns acquired him via his 5th year option.

Another way to look at it....

1 year, $13M fully guaranteed for 2024.

3-year extension starting in 2025 worth $52.5M with $28M guaranteed and another $5.5M in additional incentives.

But for practical purposes (aka the guaranteed figures), it's a 3-year, $41M dollar deal that covers 2024, 2025 and 2026.

Jameis and Dustin Hopkins are both Florida State guys and they are both guys with very strong faith too. The locker room pep talks are going to be very inspiring this season.

This is a sneaky good pick up. Solid big back, 230lbs, ran a 4.45 at his pro day, is 27, graded out around 70 on pff, can block, run, basically a Hunt with more speed and a bit more wiggle.

he started about half the games the last 3 years for Chicago. It means they dont trust Chubb's knee which is a reality for the guy. I love Chubb, but he might never be the same after hurting the same knee a 2nd time at almost 30.

My personal opinion is that we're just not going to run the ball as much as people think next season

It’s crazy how a RB can be so great in college and do so little in the pros.

He had almost 1,000 yards in 2022 for the panthers, playing in all 17 games and starting half. He had only 200 caries and averaged 4.5 yards a carry that year. I wouldnt say he has done nothing, similar production as Hunt in the last 3 years with more speed and a bit more size.

Solid runner, but he’s exactly what you expect. Tough, between the tackles type. As part of a rotation, he’s a solid enough piece. Not overly fast (I know what the 40 time was, I mean game speed), not overly shifty, not really a pass catcher.

But if you need a downhill runner, he can give you that.

It may be but honestly believe it has more so to do with their lack of faith in the running backs behind Chubb (Ford, Strong) then it says anything about Chubb..

Additionally, the role Hunt played was an important role and Foreman brings in that similiar type of tough running, short yardage functionality.. Chubb is a great runner but it was clear Hunt was much more of a weapon in short yardage yards than Chubb..

I thought they may draft a running back, and they still might, but another back was needed to round out their backup options and this now pushes RB down the draft list..

It's gong to be very tough to make this team

Depending on how good last years and this coming years draft and UDFA draft class perform in training camp, we may be in a spot to snag a 5th or 6th for 2025 with a late preseason trade to a desperate team with an injury situation or thin roster

Either way, good to hit training camp with 65-75 of your 90 man roster being guys you believe can actually make yo ur team and help if given the opportunity as so much happens in the way of short term and long term injuries every year
